• In July of 2003, in a 2 month play-off competition, Demon Funkies won runners up out of 48 of Denver's best bands at Quixote's battle of the bands, as voted by audience and judges.
• Demon Funkies have been hired to play many events including the 2003 Denver, Mares for Mayor Campaign rally, 2004 FIBark Whitewater Festival, and 2005 Highline Lake Endurance Race.
• Previous exposure in the Colorado market includes many reviews by various online music sites, locals radio show air play, and articles in the Denver Daily News, Westword, Free Press and The Daily Sentinel.
• To date the band has never missed a show and has been invited back to every venue where they have performed!
• The band often invites guest musicians from other bands to sit in with them.
